Siren Gold Awarded new tenement in Reefton Goldfield, NZ

  • Siren Gold (SNG) extends its landholding in the Reefton Goldfield on New Zealand’s South Island
  • The company on Wednesday announced it was awarded an exploration permit for the Cumberland project area, which includes the north and south part of OceanaGold’s previous Globe Progress mine
  • The tenement follows the main structural corridor that hosts the larger mines in the Reefton Goldfields and links to SNG’s Auld Creek gold and antimony prospect
  • Siren Managing Director Brian Rodan says securing this land in the Reefton Goldfield has the potential to pave the way for future development
  • Shares in SNG are trading at 17.5 cents a 2:24 pm AEDT
