Taylor, former Chief Product Officer at Cloudflare, brings extensive experience in leading product strategies at companies like Salesforce, Meta, and Adobe.
Plaid, founded in 2013, offers APIs that enable consumers to connect their bank accounts to various fintech services and make payments via open banking.
Taylor, who will oversee the tech and product teams, is seen as a valuable addition as Plaid aims to scale and potentially prepares for an initial public offering (IPO).
The company raised additional funding in a Series D extension in August 2021, following an initial Series D round earlier that year.
