Germany’s Commerzbank taps Surecomp to revamp trade finance back office

  • Commerzbank has chosen Surecomp, a Canadian trade finance solutions provider, to automate its trade finance business’s back-office processing capabilities.
  • The Frankfurt-based bank has adopted Surecomp’s Digital Online Key Account-Network Gateway (DOKA-NG) solution, which addresses various needs of trade services departments.
  • The solution includes instruments like guarantees, letters of credit, receivables finance, collections, loans, payments undertakings, and more.
  • Commerzbank aims to benefit from increased operational efficiency, reduced costs, improved risk mitigation, enhanced compliance capabilities, and better control and visibility.
  • This initiative aligns with the bank’s commitment to facilitating global trade finance for its German corporate clients.
