India’s Cashfree Payments hires Nitin Pulyani as new head of product

  • Cashfree Payments has appointed Nitin Pulyani as its new head of product and senior vice president (SVP).
  • Pulyani will lead product development, focusing on solutions for businesses in India and globally.
  • Cashfree processes over $80 billion in transactions annually for more than 6 million businesses.
  • The company is expanding in the UAE through payment provider Telr, acquired for $15 million in 2021.
  • Pulyani’s past roles include director of products at PhonePe, Ola, and NeoGrowth, and product leader at Jupiter.
  • He joins from an advisory role at Fab Money.
  • Pulyani is one of two recent strategic hires, with Harsh Gupta (ex-RazorPay SVP) appointed as chief revenue officer in June.
