HowGood: Raises $6M In Funding

  • HowGood, a NYC-based SaaS data platform with a sustainability database for the food and personal care industries, raised $6m in funding
  • The round led by Contour Venture Partners, with participation from FirstMark Capital, Danone Manifesto Ventures, Trailhead Capital and others
  • The company also intends to use the funds to accelerate the development of its platform and bring the product to new verticals like health & beauty and textiles
  • HowGood also provides Latis, a sustainability intelligence platform, which provides instant, ingredient-level sustainability insights to CPGs, restaurants and retailers
  • With Latis, brands can rapidly determine the impact of any ingredient or product against key environmental and social impact metrics like greenhouse gas emissions
  • Customers include the majority of brands within Danone North America, a business unit of Danone and one of the Top 15 food and beverage companies in the U.S
