Winsome Resources Raises $6.8m to advance lithium projects

  • Winsome Resources (WR1) receives firm commitments to raise C$6 million (A$6.8 million) through a share placement to advance various Canadian lithium projects
  • The company plans to issue around 4.07 million shares at C$1.47 per share to raise the funds, utilising the “flow-through shares” provisions under Canadian tax law
  • On top of exploration work, the funds raised will go towards the company’s plans to announce maiden resources for its Cancet and Adina projects in 2023
  • Winsome aims to complete further infill and extension drilling at both Adina and Cancet and continue other exploration activities into 2023
  • Shares in Winsome are up 17.86 per cent and trading at 99 cents at midday AEDT
