The round was led by Louis Bacon’s Moore Strategic Ventures with participation from Emerson Ventures
The company intends to use he funds to boost its product development, marketing, sales, and other functions
VirtualPeaker is a cloud-based distributed energy platform whose suites for utilities to manage their distributed energy resources (DERs)
The company is expanding its platform to include Customer Engagement and Forecasting suites of products in addition to its DERMS suite
VirtualPeaker currently employs about 40 people in various locations across the country
