Troy Resources: Reports minor fire at Karouni mine site

  • Troy Resources has reported a minor fire in the storage area of the Karouni mine site in Guyana, South America
  • The stores operate as a storage area which house all the spare parts and non-hazard consumables for the mine site
  • Then the fire was reported at 6:30 pm on Sunday, September 13 (Guyana time) and luckily no one has been injured
  • Troy is not expecting production to be impacted by the fire
  • The company will keep the market informed when further information becomes available
  • Troy ended the day in the grey, to trade for 10.5 cents
