Troy Resources: Completes first trial mining at Karouni
- Gold producer Troy Resources (TRY) has completed the first trial mining at the Karouni Gold Project in Guyana
- Trial mining is a process to determine final methods for future mining and is likely to take several months
- In March, the company commenced its trial mining at the Ohio Creek Prospect
- From the trial, the head grade from recovered gold was 2.13g/t, while gold recovery was around 95 per cent
- Currently, a second trial of ore from Ohio mined using a different grade control method
- Troy remains steady on the market this afternoon, selling shares for 8.7 cents each
