Standard Chartered Ventures launches new BaaS fintech Audax

SC Ventures launches Audax Financial Technology, a Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) platform, aiming to accelerate digital transformation for banks and financial institutions in Asia.

  • Audax, launched by SC Ventures, offers BaaS solutions to drive digital transformation and create new revenue streams for banks.
  • It serves two use cases: digital banking and BaaS, offering an end-to-end digital banking platform capable of handling millions of customer data concurrently.
  • Audax is “infrastructure-agnostic,” seamlessly integrating with banks’ core systems without the need for costly migration or in-house development.
  • Audax also leads Standard Chartered’s BaaS offering, SC Nexus, making it the first global bank to provide BaaS in Asia.
  • The partnership with Bukalapak showcases Audax’s success in providing paperless, digital banking access to over 150 million users and 20 million business owners.
  • Audax is headquartered in Singapore and primarily focuses on the Asia Pacific (APAC) region, with Kelvin Tan as CEO, leveraging his incumbent team’s expertise.
