  • The round was led by GIC. As part of the investment, Mayank Rawat, Managing Director of GIC India Direct Investment Group, will join company’s Board
  • The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and development efforts
  • SkyrootAerospace is a space-tech startup that has built the flagship Vikram Launch Vehicle series with an all-carbon-fiber structure
  • It can launch up to 800 kg of payloads to Low Earth Orbit
  • The company has built and tested cryogenic, hypergolic-liquid, and solid fuel-based rocket engines via R&D and production which activities extensively use advanced composite and 3D-printing technologies
