ShotTracker: Raises $11M in Financing

  • DDSports Inc. (ShotTracker), a Kansas City, MO-based developer of sports technology that captures rich performance data, raised $11M USD in funding
  • The round led by Evertz Technologies Limited and Verizon Ventures
  • The company will use the funds to accelerate its deployment across NCAA Division I Power 6 Basketball Conferences, expand hiring, further key partnerships
  • Founded by Davyeon Ross and Bruce Ianni and led by Bill Moses, CEO, ShotTracker brings elite-level real-time analytics to the court
  • Then the company’s patented technology tracks data in three parts: a ShotTracker-enabled ball, sensors on players’ jerseys, and court sensors that map the court in 3D
  • Data processed through a proprietary algorithm displayed on the ShotTracker app and dashboard and will also integrated with Evertz cloud-based live production solutions
