Sella Group selects four startups for metaverse incubation programme

The Sella Group Venture Incubator, dpixel, has selected four startups for its “Metaverse 4 Finance” acceleration program. The startups come from the USA, United Kingdom, Romania, and Switzerland.

  • Intraverse (Lugano, Switzerland): An Italian startup that has developed an interoperable metaverse integrating NFTs as in-game avatars through a blockchain-based platform.
  • Seed Venture (London, UK): Deconcentrates fundraising for startups and SMEs, allowing the exchange of tokens representing financial instruments issued in the secondary market, combining decentralized finance and traditional economy.
  • Vestinda (Bucharest, Romania; Boston, USA): Develops technology for trading and investments in web3, providing zero-code solutions to automate, grow, and protect the portfolios of retail traders and platforms.
  • 117 startups from 26 countries applied to the program, with 37 applications from Italy, 11 from the USA, 6 from the UK, and 5 from India and Germany.
  • The selected startups went through acceleration with specialized mentors and presented their projects at an Investor Day in front of over 90 investors, venture capital funds, and entrepreneurs.
  • The Sella Group Venture Incubator has a three-year plan with a total investment allocation of 3 million euros.
