RailVision Analytics Raises US$4M in Seed Funding

  • RailVision Analytics, a Montreal, Canada-based provider of an in-cab technology develepment solutions, raised US$4M in Seed funding
  • The round was led by Trucks Venture Capital with participation from MUUS Climate Partners, Blackhorn Ventures, Incite.org, Measured Ventures, Active Impact Investments and Neil Murdoch
  • The company intends to use the funds for technical hiring, to grow its product development team, and to expand its EcoRail product line and customer base
  • RailVisionAnalytics is developing in-cab technology for passenger and freight trains to drive efficiency and growth in the rail industry
  • Its EcoRail app directly reduces fuel consumption and GHG emissions through improved train handling
  • As it embraces a user interface similar to Google Maps, the app is easy for railroad engineers to adopt
