Pudu Robotics Closes Series C2 Financing; Total Series C To $155M

  • Pudu Robotics, a Shenzen, China-based commercial service robots company, completed an approx. $78m C2-series financing
  • The joint investment was led by Meituan, Greater Bay Area Homeland Development Fund, Shenzhen Investment Holdings and Sequoia Capital China
  • The funding followed the C1 series of $78m raised in May and the combination of C1 and C2 has raised nearly $155 million in total
  • The C2 round funds will be utilized for R&D development, new product development, new site launches, and expansion of the company’s global network
  • The robots are widely applied in restaurants, hotels, supermarkets, government offices, airports, high-speed train stations, and hospitals
  • The company has achieved total cumulative sales of several tens of thousands of units, with footprints covering more than 60 countries and regions worldwide
