Prodigy Gold Appoints experienced geologist as new Managing Director

  • Prodigy Gold (PRX) announces the appointment of Mark Edwards as its new Managing Director
  • Effective from May 1, Mr Edwards will take over from Brett Smith who has been acting in the role since December, following the resignation of Matt Briggs in October 2021
  • Mr Edwards is a geologist with over 25 years of experience working as a manager and mine geologist on gold projects in the Northern Territory, Western Australia and Botswana
  • The new Managing Director will be on a salary of $325,000 before superannuation and a discretionary performance bonus of up to $25,000 per annum
  • PRX shares eight per cent higher at 2.7 cents
