  • Phantom Neuro, an Austin, TX- and Baltimore, MD-based neurotechnology startup, raised $3.26M in Seed funding
  • The round was led by LionBird Ventures, with participation from Draper Associates, Breakout Ventures, Blackrock Neurotech and Capital Factor
  • With the funding, LionBird Ventures’ Partner Robert Lord will join the PhantomNeuro board and Managing Partner Ed Michael will join as a board observer
  • The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its business reach
  • PhantomNeuro is creating a system that will enable lifelike control of robotic orthopedic technologies, such as prosthetic limbs and exoskeletons
  • The solution consists of low-risk implantable sensors, AI, and enabling software to provide control of existing and next-generation orthopedic technologies
