Maison Sport: Raises £1.25M in Funding

  • Maison Sport, a London, UK-based ski instructor marketplace, raised £1.25m in funding
  • Backers included Kevin Byrne, Lorenz Bogaert, Gareth Williams, and other backers who participated in a Seedrs crowdfunding campaign
  • The company intends to use the funds to continue to grow its portfolio of instructors and loyal customers globally, enter new markets and continue to support independent ski instructors across the world
  • The team set their sights on expansion into four new markets in 2021 – Scotland, Norway, Sweden and Japan, and are already making plans for further expansion into Asia and South America next year
  • Led by Founder and CEO Nick Robinson, Maison Sport provides a marketplace of ski team members and fully qualified ski instructors
  • Currently, the marketplace includes more than 350 resorts and over 1,200 qualified instructors across France, Switzerland, Italy and Austria
