Lucapa Diamond Company Recovers 36 diamonds from two Lulo kimberlite bulk samples

  • Lucapa Diamond Company (LOM) and its partners recover 36 diamonds from two Lulo kimberlite bulk samples
  • The parties recovered 23 diamonds from a 365-cubic-metre bulk sample taken from kimberlite L164, which returned a grade of 4.47 carats per 100 cubic metres — the highest ever recovered from a bulk sample at Lulo
  • A further 13 diamonds were recovered from a 902-cubic-metre bulk sample from kimberlite L056, boasting a total weight of 7.85 carats
  • The company says further sampling from the kimberlite has been planned and will be processed once ground conditions allow
  • LucapaDiamond Company shares are down 4.65 per cent to 4.1 cents at 1:22 pm AEDT
