Lloyds Bank: Appoints new MD for merchant services from Afterpay

  • Lloyds Bank Business & Commercial Banking has appointed Melinda Roylett as Managing Director, Merchant Services
  • Melinda will be based in London and report to Elyn Corfield, CEO, of Business & Commercial Banking
  • The ambition is to provide all of its UK business customers across all segments with market-leading merchant-acquiring solutions
  • Also uniquely positioned in the UK market to be able to help businesses access truly differential
  • Melinda will oversee this ambition, with day-to-day responsibility for overseeing the Cardnet business
  • Melinda’s career spans 20 years, with her experience focused on financial services and technology
