Lakeside Bank selects Volante’s PaaS for RTP processing

  • Lakeside Bank, a $2.64 billion-asset bank based in Lake Charles, Louisiana, has selected Volante Technologies to improve its Swift messaging and real-time payment capabilities.
  • The bank will use Volante’s Payments-as-a-Service (PaaS) platform to offer real-time payment and treasury services through The Clearing House’s RTP system and FedNow, which was launched by the Federal Reserve in July 2023.
  • The integration is expected to benefit Lakeside’s commercial clients by providing immediate fund access, improved cash flow, and reduced settlement risks.
  • Matthew Palmisano, Lakeside’s SVP and director of treasury management, highlighted the solution’s efficiency, especially for clients with high transaction volumes, such as large commodity exchanges.
  • Volante Technologies previously expanded its PaaS to Azqore in July to support SEPA instant payments compliance in Europe.
