Jumpstart Raises $20M in Funding

  • Jumpstart, a San Francisco, Calif.-based provider of a Diversity Recruitment Platform (DRP), is rebranding as Canvas raised $20m in funding
  • The round was led by Lachy Groom and Sequoia Capital with participation from Four Rivers Capital
  • The company intends to use the funds to expand the platform into other industries and verticals beyond technology
  • Canvas provides a Diversity Recruitment Platform to hire diverse teams and gain transparency into the diversity of applicants in the hiring process
  • Customers include Airbnb, Bloomberg, Coinbase, Lyft, Pinterest, Plaid, Roblox, Audible, Stripe, and more use Canvas to understand the diversity of their recruiting pipeline
  • The company currently has 70 employees and expects to have 100 by the end of 2021
