Italian Artisan Closes €1.M Seed Funding

  • Italian Artisan, a Milan, Italy-based marketplace connecting brands and international retailers and providers in the fashion industry closed a € 1.3M funding
  • Backers included Primo Ventures, through Primo Digital and Primo Digital Parallel Italia, along with a group of business angels
  • In conjunction with the deal, Gianluca Dettori, partner of Primo Digital and President of Primo Ventures, will join Italian Artisan’s board
  • The company intends to use the funds to extend its community of Italian manufacturers, and its roster of international clients, invest in marketing, with a focus on geographic areas
  • ItalianArtisan operates a marketplace for global brands, providers and merchants to make and trade “Made in Italy” products
  • Today, the company has over 11.000 international brands on the platform and commercial partnerships with over 700 manufacturer
