Home management data platform AskHomey has been acquired by a private investor who plans to shut down the UK app by the end of the year. Users have until June 10th, 2023 to download their data before it will be deleted.

  • Following the deal, AskHomey will retain its shareholding in GetDwelly.com, a US-based venture that licensed the platform.
  • AskHomey aimed to “centralize and digitize” home data management, recruiting partners in energy switching, home decoration, and design, as well as eco-saving efforts.
  • CEO Dharmesh Mistry will continue working on property data digitization as part of the Home Buying Selling Group alongside technology subgroup lead Maria Harris.
