  • The round was led by Index Ventures with participation from Bain Capital Ventures and Firstminute
  • The company also intends to use the funds to build its core technologies and grow its New York-based team
  • Lightning gives AI researchers, data scientists and machine learning engineers the flexibility to iterate on research ideas faster
  • It also used by 400+ organizations, ranging from small startups to Fortune 500 companies and many top academic and AI research labs
  • As a platform for training models, Grid extends the power of PyTorch Lightning and makes it possible for any company to have access to state-of-the-art AI services
