- Before her tenure at Bank of America, Shibata held leadership positions at Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan, and the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC).
- Founded in 1974 and based in New York, R&T provides liquidity management, deposit funding, and securities-based lending solutions to the financial service sector.
- Shibata’s appointment reflects a trend of recent CIO appointments in the industry, including Barrett Schiwitz at Basware and Sue Britton at Beem Credit Union.
