Flexiroam Expands Mastercard into global agreement

  • Flexiroam (FRX) expands its Global Data Plan partnership with Mastercard Asia Pacific to cover all Mastercard credit card issuers globally
  • This will allow any Mastercard issuing bank around the world to participate in the program
  • Under the agreement, Mastercard will increase the minimum commitment to US$500,000 (A$715,000) annually, up from US$250,000 for data purchases in the Asia Pacific
  • Cardholders are entitled to a 15 per cent discount on the data plans purchased with an eligible Mastercard
  • Shares in the company are up 13.2 per cent, trading at 4.3 cents at 2:09 pm AEST
