Encounter Resources Granted up to $220,000 by WA government for Aileron exploration

  • Encounter Resources (ENR) receives a co-funded WA government grant of up to $220,000 for drilling and exploration at its Aileron project in the West Arunta region of WA
  • The funding is part of the state government’s Exploration Incentive Scheme (EIS), which offers a refund of up to 50 per cent for exploration drilling projects
  • Encounter is conducting an 8000-line-kilometre airborne magnetic-radiometric survey to refine targets for drilling in 2023
  • Only two holes have been drilled to date along the 130-kilometre prospective geological belt being targeted by Encounter, with both considered to be “well-mineralised”
  • ENR shares are up 6.06 per cent and trading at 17.5 cents at 3:56 pm AEDT
