EMVision: Releases positive results for its brain scan tech
- Medical imaging specialist EMVision (EMV) has released what it calls “highly promising” results from its pilot stroke clinical trial
- The trial designed to test EMVision’s imaging tech against conventional scanning methods
- The EMVision trial also designed to monitor the brains of stroke patients to detect and localise abnormal brain tissue
- EMVision creating a portable imaging device designed to be quicker and cheaper than the conventional scanning methods
- The EMV scans, when compared with prior MRI and CT scans, have shown some encouraging results
- Shares in the company are trading over nine per cent higher after today’s results, currently worth 82 cents each
