Downer Awarded $800m in road maintenance contracts

  • Downer (DOW) receives two road maintenance contracts by Auckland Transport, valued at $800 million over 10 years
  • The contracts will see Dow ner as the stewards of Auckland Transport’s Central network and North Rural network, delivering maintenance and renewal activities and emergency repairs
  • The integrated service company said the contracts will expand its working relationship with Auckland Transport
  • The contracts will commence on July 1 for an initial five-year term plus a five-year extension option
  • DOW shares are up 2.82 per cent on the market, trading at $5.11 at market close
