Dayforce selects Green Dot as BaaS partner for on-demand pay solution

  • Dayforce, the Canadian payroll software firm, has chosen Green Dot, a US-based digital bank and fintech, as its Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) partner for its new on-demand pay offering.
  • Through this partnership, Dayforce will leverage Green Dot’s BaaS platform and embedded finance solutions for its Dayforce Wallet offering, which allows companies to pay their employees as they earn.
  • The prepaid Mastercard, issued by the Central Bank of Kansas City, will be managed through the Dayforce app.
  • Green Dot will handle all banking services for Dayforce Wallet customers in the US.
  • According to Dayforce’s fourth-quarter results, it currently has 1,150 active users for the offering.
