  • Coop, one of Switzerland’s prominent retail and wholesale companies, has partnered with embedded finance fintech Additiv to launch its Coop Finance+ financial services app.
  • Coop Finance+ is designed to be a comprehensive “super-app” that offers a range of financial services, including banking, payments, and pension solutions.
  • The app will initially provide banking services powered by Hypothekarbank Lenzburg, as well as individual pension products from Vanguard, OLZ, Liberty Vorsorge, and Glarner Kantonalbank. Additional digital financial products will be introduced in the coming months.
  • Customers can use the app to open savings accounts, obtain debit cards, make online payments, and invest in Pillar 3a retirement plans.
  • Coop aims to provide competitive terms, above-average retirement account interest rates, loyalty benefits, and free cash withdrawals at all Coop supermarkets and warehouses.
  • Thomas Schwetje, Head of Digital and Customer at Coop, highlights the company’s commitment to offering tailored digital solutions that meet customer needs, emphasizing the simplicity and accessibility of their account, payment, budget management, and pension services within Coop Finance+.
