Comet Resources: Finalises exploration deal at Barraba

  • Comet Resources has finalised an exploration access agreement for a large portion of land within an exploration licence at the Barraba Copper Project
  • The Barraba Project lies near the town of Barraba, 550 kilometres north of Sydney and spanning 2375 hectares
  • Then the company can now access the Murchison Copper Mine, which historically produced an average grade of 3 per cent copper, peaking at 5.1 per cent
  • In addition, multiple chargeability-induced polarisation (IP) anomalies, which lie to the north of the Gulf Creek Mine, are located within the landholding
  • Comet is now planning an exploration program to target the Murchison Copper Mine and the IP anomalies
  • Company shares are up an even 4 per cent on the market and are trading for 2.6 cents each
