Classic Minerals Confirms average of 6.06 g/t gold in first bulk sample at Kap Gap, WA

  • Classic Minerals (CLZ) confirms an average head grade of 6.06 grams of gold per tonne in its first bulk sample ore from Kap Gap in WA
  • The company received assay results from its recent Gekko pilot plant test work, which reported a JORC resource higher than originally calculated
  • The company calculated a recovery of 73.2 per cent into a mass pull of 4.6 per cent of the feed
  • Classic says the new run demonstrates the Gekko flowsheet effectively concentrates the gold ore to produce a high-grade concentrate, whilst discarding a proportion of the gold into a low-grade tailings stream
  • ClassicMinerals ends the day in the grey to close at 1.7 cents
