Chloé Mayenobe joins paytech Thunes as chief operating officer

  • Mayenobe is a seasoned tech leader with expertise in transforming and scaling payments firms.
  • She comes to Thunes from fintech company Solaris, where she has been COO since January.
  • Previously, Mayenobe served as deputy CEO at Natixis Payments for over three years.
  • She also spent over 12 years at French payments firm Ingenico Group in senior roles.
  • Thunes CEO, Peter De Caluwe, expects Mayenobe to help the company advance and make cross-border payments more accessible and efficient.
  • The appointment follows a $72 million Series C funding round completed during the summer.
  • Previous Thunes COO, Tamer El-Emary, served from September 2020 to August 2022.
