Black Mountain Energy Appoints Michael Laurent as COO

  • Black Mountain Energy (BME) appoints Michael Laurent as its new Chief Operating Officer who’ll be replacing Samantha Richardson
  • The company said he will assume the role by no later than November 28, in line with his current employment terms and conditions
  • Mr Laurent reportedly brings substantial expertise in reservoir, drilling and operations with particular emphasis on resource and business development
  • His appointment is a strategic decision as the company embarks on its next phase of growth, focusing on the operational strategy of unlocking the Canning Basin and expanding its portfolio in the region
  • Shares in Black MountainEnergy have ended the day up 7.81 per cent at 6.9 cents each
