  • The partnership involves the adoption of several cloud-based solutions from Google Cloud.
  • These solutions include infrastructure modernization, developer cloud, Mandiant Threat Intelligence platform for cybersecurity, and Firestore for data storage.
  • Additionally, the bank will use Google Marketing Platform integrated with Looker and BigQuery for consolidating and analyzing first-party data.
  • The bank plans to apply generative AI (GenAI) using Google’s Vertex AI Search and Conversation platform to extract insights and recommendations from its data repository in natural language.
  • These solutions will complement the bank’s existing cloud-based core banking platform powered by Mambu and engagement banking platform from Backbase.
  • Bank Muamalat aims to leverage these technologies to enhance its Sharia-compliant financing and deposit offerings and strengthen its position as a digital-first bank.
