- Minerals explorer Ausquest (AQD) has completed a reverse circulation drilling program at its Tangadee zinc project in WA’s Edmund Basin
- The RC drilling targeted an area of zinc-thallium soil anomalism, which graded over 1000 parts per million (ppm) zinc and more than 5 ppm thallium
- The drilling intersected over 200 metres of black carbonaceous mudstones containing fine-grained pyrite, but no visual signs of zinc mineralisation
- AusQuest Managing Director Graeme Drew says it’s likely positive results will returned, as pyritic black mudstones are common host rocks for zin
- Samples have sent to the Genalysis Intertek Laboratory in Perth for analysis, with assays expected in coming weeks
- Ausquest is trading 6.45 per cent lower at 2.9 cents
