Auris Minerals: Completes due diligence on NZ gold acquisition

  • Auris Minerals (AUR) has completed due diligence for the acquisition of the one million-ounce Sams Creek Gold Project in New Zealand
  • Sams Creek is one of New Zealand’s largest undeveloped gold deposits
  • Sandfire will also acquire a 19.99 percent cornerstone shareholding in Auris following completion of the transaction
  • A seven-hole diamond drilling program also funded by Sandfire is underway to upgrade the mineral resource and test geological models
  • Results will form the basis of a conceptual underground mining study
  • Auris Minerals is trading grey for 10.5 cents
