Ark Mines Completes phase two drilling at Gunnawarra, QLD

  • Ark Mines (AHK) completes phase two drilling at its Gunnawarra nickel-cobalt project in North Queensland
  • The company drilled 28 holes to target nickel and cobalt mineralisation in shallow laterites, as well as potential new mineralisation in step-out locations
  • While assays won’t be received for another two weeks, Ark says the second phase has shown “encouraging” lateritic material
  • Assays from phases one and two will be used to complete a maiden mineral resource estimate for the Gunnawarra project
  • AHK shares are up 17.4 per cent to trade at 27 cents at 3:02 pm AEDT
