American Rare Earths: Completes trenching program at La Paz

  • American Rare Earths (ARR) has completed a trenching program at its 100 per cent-owned La Paz project in Arizona
  • The trenching designed to follow up on a recent surface sampling program to generate targets for drilling
  • Due to the extensive weathered soil cover on the property, ARR’s geology team deemed trenching the best means of exposing and testing the bedrock
  • The best assay returned values up to 466.59 parts per million (ppm) rare earth elements (REE), and 13.7ppm scandium from Augen gneiss
  • Then the planned drilling program will test for continuity of REE and scandium values deeper into the bedrock
  • American Rare Earths is trading 6.25 per cent higher at 3.4 cents
