Altech Chemicals Expands Perth R&D labs to progress Silumina Anodes project
- Altech Chemicals (ATC) expands its research and development laboratories in Perth to produce pouch-cell-size batteries
- The company revamped its operations earlier this year, which included the installation and commissioning of a large-scale tube furnace
- The move will allow it to proceed to the next stage of its Silumina Anodes project
- By producing the pouch cell batteries in-house, the company will be able to test scenarios relating to electrical, physical, and environmental abuse of the cells
- Shares in AltechChemicals are trading 4.17 per cent lower at 7 cents per share at 1:03 pm AEST
