Altech Batteries Launches design of “safe and durable” battery storage solution

  • Altech Batteries (ATC) launches the design of a new one-megawatt-hour (MWh) “GridPack” product for the renewable energy and grid storage market
  • In partnership with Fraunhofer, ATC has designed a CERENERGY Sodium Alumina Solid State 1.0 MWh GridPack in a sea container design
  • Altech says the GridPacks can be installed outdoors in any weather conditions
  • Once launched to the market, Altech believes the GridPacks will be the “preferred choice” for companies seeking a reliable and long-lasting energy storage solution
  • ATC shares are up 0.59 per cent to 8.5 cents at 10:26 am AEDT
