AcreTrader: Raises $12M in Series A Funding

  • AcreTrader, a Fayetteville, Ark.-based farmland investing platform, raised $12m in Series A funding round
  • The round, which brought the total amount of funds raised to $18m, was led by Jump Capital with participation from Narya Capital, Revolution’s Rise of the Rest Seed Fund
  • In addition to the funding, Peter Johnson, partner at Jump Capital, and Kenny Traynom, former COO of Westchester Group, joined AcreTrader’s board of directors
  • AcreTrader is providing access for individuals and institutions to invest in land and partner with farmers, allowing individuals to purchase shares of farmland online
  • The platform also works with farmers by providing new financing options to grow their operation
  • The platform is currently available to accredited investors throughout the U.S.
