Saudi fintech Hala names former Revolut exec Saleem Arshad as CTO

  • Arshad aims to enhance Hala’s technology capabilities with the senior management team.
  • Hala, founded in 2017 and based in Riyadh, is a Saudi fintech with a full license from the central bank, serving over 50,000 businesses and processing $3 billion in annual transactions.
  • Hala acquired UAE-based payments start-up Paymennt.com in February this year.
