Anson Resources Confirms Colorado River water is suitable for DLE extraction at Paradox

  • Anson Resources (ASN) confirms that water from the Colorado River is suitable for a direct lithium extraction (DLE) process in its Paradox lithium project in Utah
  • The company says testwork shows the river contains fresh water with low levels of salt that only require minor reverse osmosis to remove
  • CEO Bruce Richardson says this negates the need to access underground water or transport water to the project from remote locations
  • More than 80 per cent of the water used in the extraction and purification process will be recycled, with further studies underway to increase water sustainability
  • Anson (ASN) shares are down 2.63 per cent and trading at 18.5 cents at 2:45 pm AEDT
