Deep Yellow: Completes Tumas DFS, Namibia

Deep Yellow Completes Tumas DFS, Namibia

  • Deep Yellow (DYL) completes a definitive feasibility study (DFS) for its Tumas uranium project in Namibia
  • The DFS outlines annual production of 3.6 million pounds of uranium — a 20 per cent increase on the pre-feasibility study completed in 2021
  • However, inflationary and COVID-related pressures since the PFS estimates have led to a 17 per cent reduction in net present value and hefty rises in capital and operating costs
  • DeepYellow will now advance financing and offtake discussions and hopes to make a final investment decision by the first half of 2024
  • DYL shares are up 6.54 per cent to trade at 82 cents at 1:13 pm AEDT
