Clean TeQ Water Completes drinking water treatment plant in Queensland

  • Clean TeQ Water (CNQ) announces the formal completion of its ion exchange water treatment plant for the Mackay Regional Council in Queensland
  • The company was awarded the $2 million contract in January 2021 for the upgrade of a bore water treatment plant at Koumala, including its design, procurement and construction
  • The treatment plant will reduce the potential scaling of pipes and improve the taste of the potable water supply
  • Following successful testing of the plant, the old Koumala water tower was disconnected, with residents now able to access an improved water supply
  • Shares in CNQ are up 3.37 per cent, trading at 43 cents as of 3:00 pm AEDT
