IFRS Foundation Trustees: Appoint Jeffrey Hales and Michael Jantzi to the ISSB
- IFRS Foundation Trustees have appointed Jeffrey Hales and Michael Jantzi
- Dr. Hales has served as Chair of the SASB Standards Board since 2018
- He is also a professor of accounting at the University of Texas in Austin, US.
- Mr. Jantzi has 30 years of experience in responsible investment and sustainable finance.
- He joins the ISSB from Morningstar, where he currently serves as Managing Director of ESG Strategy
- The appointments of Dr Hales and Mr Jantzi bring the ISSB’s membership to eight, which allows the ISSB to operate
