  • Choix, a San Francisco, CA-based telehealth clinic focused on abortion, sexual and reproductive healthcare, secured $1 million in its initial seed round
  • The round was led by Elevate Capital, a venture capital fund
  • In conjunction with the funding, Nitin Rai, founder and managing partner of Elevate Capital, has also been appointed a Choi x board member
  • The company, which plans to raise an additional $500k to $1m in the coming months, intends to use the funds to expand operations and its business reach
  • The company is a telemedicine abortion clinic empowering people to access safe and affordable abortion, sexual and reproductive healthcare at home
  • The company currently serves people in California, Colorado and Illinois, and also offers emergency contraception, birth control, genital herpes care, cold sore treatment and UTI treatment
